Improving organic rankings for a mailing equipment and customer experience management company
Quadient UK approached our SEO agency London team with a goal to optimise their on-site content to improve organic rankings for their target audience search terms.
The project challenges
The client wanted us to cover various business units such as mailing, business process automation, parcel locker solutions and more.
Our solution
Besides the extensive keyword research, our SEO team carried out content and backlink audits as well to fully diagnose the issues and develop a roadmap for improvement. The bespoke SEO strategy consisted of several phases, including:
- Optimisation of priority pages: metadata, schema, internal linking, on-page content and more
- Finding internal linking opportunities to enhance site hierarchy and connect the pages
- Create articles and generate backlinks from other relevant websites to boost the ranking of the priority pages
The results
The quick implementation of our recommendations resulted in improvement in ranking, organic traffic and visibility. We managed to hit all keyword ranking KPIs. The development of our first set of primary targeted keywords can be seen below.
After this success, the client was keen to expand the number of targeted keywords. The ranking data for the additional keywords can be seen below.
Moreover, the number of organic clicks to the priority pages on average was up by 143%, while the number of impressions increased by 530% after 6 months of work.
